Tennis
- Using tennis courts for holiday programme activities for children and young people
- Exploring a tennis coaches licence scheme for the courts – one or 2 coaches will be delivering programmes for the Sports Service at no cost, will pay a retainer for the court time and will then be allowed to develop a tennis coaching programme
- Tennis sessions for children, young people and adults planned for April to September
- Working with LTA on Beacon Status for the courts
Walks programme
- Fridays, 1.30 – 2.30pm. Free walk led by a walk leader
Fitness session
- Looking to run British Military Fitness style activities in the park
Football
- Get into Football officer employed by Sports Service and Middlesex FA to get more 16+ involved in the game. Post is across the whole borough
- Tournament planned with College of North West London and schools to be held at Gladstone
- Working with Rachel Yankey ( England & Arsenal Football Player, local coach) to deliver sessions at Gladstone
- Working with Crest Academy delivering football
MUGA
- Double MUGA
- Local school looking to use facilities
- Holiday programmes planned for young people
Netball
- 4 netball courts
- Return to Netball coach employed by England Netball and Brent Sports Service to work predominantly with adults in the whole of Brent
- Launch date being discussed – will have taster sessions and hopefully some England or Club players to work with us
- Looking at sessions for women, mums and daughters, and young people
- Good venue for a tournament
